The reigning champions at 9:30 p.m. in prime time for us Europeans, then Victor Wembanyama educating the Suns at 2 a.m. for the most determined fans. Without forgetting the Bulls in New York, and the Lakers at home against the Heat. Come on, send the NBA program!
The evening NBA program:
- 21h30 : Thunder – Pelicans
- 0h : Nets – Sixers
- 0h : Hornets – Jazz
- 0h : Cavaliers – Hawks
- 0h : Raptors – Grizzlies
- 1h : Knicks – Bulls
- 2h : Suns – Spurs
- 3h30 : Lakers – Heat
Matches not to be missed: Thunder – Pelicans and Suns – Spurs
Obviously, when the reigning champions play their first match at European time of the season, it is a must watch. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell in uniform, to pluck the Pelicans who probably did not ask to be displayed like this in front of an entire continent. We’re going to enjoy it, if only for the moment when Zion Williamson worships himself and uses Chet Holmgren as a stepping stone to the circle.
A little further south, in Arizona, the Suns host the Spurs at 2 a.m. The idea of the Éperons is to continue their fantastic start to the season, and preserve their invincibility. With that in mind, it will still take a great Victor Wembanyama to show Khaman Maluach what a top interior player in the NBA is. Watch out for Devin Booker, he can quickly get into the swing of things when he gets angry. Whatever happens, it promises to be a great match!
But also :
- The Knicks want to take their revenge on the Bulls and inflict their first defeat of the season, in a hot Madison Square Garden.
- The Cavaliers host the Hawks in a duel that could be a big battle in the East in a few months.
- Hornets against Jazz, everyone cares (except for our dear French).
- Nets – Sixers, can Tyrese Maxey pass 45?
- The Grizzlies without Ja Morant on the Toronto side, because the gentleman did not perform well.
- Luka Doncic at home against Miami, it still smells like a big offensive orgy.
The French in the running:
- Victor Wembanyama with the Suns, watch out for damage.
- Zacharie Risacher is in Cleveland, to educate the Cavs exteriors.
- Moussa Diabaté and Tidjane Salaün face Jazz.
- Nolan Traoré is in the G League, apparently.
