There were 342 new projects approved, with registered capital of $316.7 million; 120 projects having made capital adjustments (increase or decrease) for a total of $3.215 billion. Note, the Yen So Park construction project of the company Gamuda Land Vietnam, with a contribution of Malaysian capital, saw its capital increase by 1.120 billion dollars.

In addition, 318 capital contribution and share purchase operations by foreign investors were recorded, amounting to $375.3 million.

Regarding business registration, in October alone, Hanoi issued certificates to 2,814 new businesses, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year; registered capital reached 49.3 trillion VND (1.83 billion dollars), up 32.1%. Furthermore, 793 companies resumed their activities (+1.5%), 1,658 companies declared a temporary suspension (+28.1%) and 937 were dissolved (+97.7%).

Over the entire first ten months of 2025, the city therefore issued certificates to 27.8 thousand new companies, with a total registered capital of 337.9 trillion VND, an increase of 11.1% in number of companies and 38% in capital compared to the same period last year; 8,800 businesses resumed their activities (+4.6%).

At the same time, 25,500 companies declared a temporary suspension (+19%) and 6,300 were dissolved (+61.7%).
