Hey! 🙂
I’m turning 18 soon and I really haven’t achieved much in life and I can’t do much either ^^’ Actually, I’ve always wanted to learn some kind of musical instrument, but the music schools here are quite expensive. (56-92 euros everything is represented)
And I would also like going to a sports club, badminton or table tennis. Just try something new, find my hobby, get to know people and maybe even discover my “talent”?
Now it’s the case that I have a very small circle of friends and most of them don’t want to play badminton or table tennis. That’s why I thought about going there alone (i.e. to table tennis)…but I imagine the situation when I’m standing there alone and everyone is playing, they already know each other and then I come and everyone looks confused.
What should I say when I get there? So according to the website you can try it out for free for a few weeks to see if it suits you and is fun. Training is always on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Isn’t it strange to show up there all alone? And what can I say? I’ll definitely feel weird going alone…
I have visited the badminton club several times, but not alone. One friend didn’t like it, the other found it too tiring, etc… and the last time I was there, I even went alone. But the trainers are really unpleasant and most of them are still very young. There are three girls my age, but they are also very unpleasant. Since I’m not a professional badminton player, I asked for help setting up the net and they weren’t helpful at all and were contemptuous! It’s been a long time since I was there, they even gave me a registration form and I said “Yes, next time I’ll come with the signature”….
And since then I’ve never gone back there xD
Is it strange to go there again after a very, very long time?
