Aston Martin 2026 Driver Plans: Key Target Revealed

This is stated by Ralf Schumacher in the Backstage Boxengasse podcast. According to the commentator, there is a feeling that Piastri questions the impartiality within the team and could be keeping an eye on the market.

“From my point of view, if a driver has lost confidence in the team, or vice versa, which can happen, that is a clear sign that action needs to be taken, and it might even be necessary to leave the team,” he said.

Conversations underway

Schumacher cree that Aston Martin could be a suitable destination, citing an alleged desire by the British team to change its lineup.

“The rumors in the paddock are clear: Aston Martin is urgently looking for a change around 2026 or, at the latest, after 2026”he began by stating.
