Al-Ahly Women’s Football: Team 2007 Wins Championship Match

The club’s junior girls’ football team, born in 2007, succeeded in defeating its host, Ra, by four goals to nothing, in the match that was held between the two teams today, in the ninth round of the Republic Championship, at the latter’s stadium, within the ninth round of the Republic Championship.

Al-Ahly’s goals were scored by Sama Ahmed, who succeeded in scoring three goals, and one goal by Loujain Medhat.

Al-Ahly raised its score with this result to 25 points, collected from victory over Smouha 7-0, over Arab Contractors 7-1, over Al-Qantara Al-Bayda 8-0, over Enppi 3-0, over Al-Tayaran 11-0, over Talaea El-Geish 3-0, over Al-Mataria 13-0, a draw with Wadi Degla 1-1, and a win over Ra 4-0, scoring 57 goals, and conceding only two goals.

The Republic Championship, born in 2007, is held in its first stage with a two-group league system, each group includes nine teams competing with each other in two “home and away” rounds. The first place finishers in the two groups qualify for the final stage, which is held in a “home and away” match system to determine the identity of the competition’s champion.
