The team from the Polesano region ultimately fell to Buttrio in the championship game, capping a season-long rivalry that extended from regular-season standings to the cup final.

The Final Four also featured Lupi Auto Fiorentina and new Rimini, who qualified based on their performance in the top-flight poule salvation. Rovigo kicked off their semifinal matchup against Fiorentina with a decisive 9-3 victory. The team established an early lead, scoring six runs in the first two innings.
