Feyenoord’s Vinicius: Brazilian Talent Scouting

Feyenoord has strengthened himself with the young Brazilian attacker Vinicius Dos Santos Progetti. The 17-year-old talented attacker comes over from Espore Clube Laranja Mecânica Arapongas and has signed a two-year professional contract in De Kuip, the Brazilian club reports via social media.

DOS Santos was already introduced to Feyenoord during an internship period, in which he immediately impressed. The Rotterdammers have been keeping an eye on him since then and now the transition is finally complete. The player has been going through the entire youth academy of Laranja Mecânica for the past five years, a club with which Feyenoord has been maintaining a partnership for some time.

In the Campeonato Paranaense O17, Dos Santos grew into one of the absolute flavorings, in which he played an important role in the successful season of his team, the club says.

The switch to Feyenoord O17 also had a dream start. In his first game on behalf of the Rotterdammers against PSV O17 (6-1 win), the young Brazilian was good for two goals. A striking debut with which he immediately showed his potential on Tuesday afternoon.

His old club said goodbye to the top talent through an official statement and said: “A player who has always shown professionalism and dedication.” From Brazil, Vinicius receives warm statements for his new adventure in Europe.
