And 4! For the fourth consecutive time since 2018, Olivier Faure was elected head of the Socialist Party. This election took place in a particular context: the PS today has less than 40,000 members, a record. The party also seems divided, because the outgoing first secretary won by a narrow margin: 50.9% against the mayor of Rouen, Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol.

In short, at the PS, we hope to be able to unite to strengthen ourselves. So for months, all the executives announced that they wanted to make the Nancy congress a congress of gathering

A congress to bring together socialists. Some will certainly see references to the one who was major for the party and its unification: Epinay in 1971.
