The Coaticook Big Bill have made a major splash in the Quebec major Baseball League (QMBL) offseason, acquiring brothers Oscar and raul Rodriguez from their fierce rivals, the Sherbrooke Expos. In a deal that sent infielder Samuel Rajotte and pitcher Frédérick Fauteux to Sherbrooke, Coaticook aims to significantly upgrade its pitching arsenal for the upcoming season.

Oscar is a top guy, the heart of Sherbrooke’s lineup. For our part, it was imperative to improve on the mound. That’s a bit of the reason why we didn’t go far in the playoffs. We lacked arms.
