A Familiar Stint and a Shot at the NBA
For Alex, this isn’t a entirely new habitat. He’s already familiar with the Bucks organization,having played for their G-League affiliate,the Wisconsin Herd,from 2022 to 2024. since turning professional in 2020 and going undrafted in 2021, Alex also had a stint with the Raptors 905 in the G-League during the 2021-2022 season.
Following a series of less-than-stellar experiences in Europe in 2024, including stints in Lithuania with Mažeikiai, montenegro with Podgorica, and most recently in Greece with PAOK and Aris, Alex now has a genuine possibility to make his mark in the NBA. He was recently released by Aris Salonika and was widely expected to return to the G-League.
The Bucks made a roster move to accommodate Alex,releasing jamaree Bouyea from his two-way contract. This signing arrives at a noteworthy juncture, especially with ongoing speculation surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee.
