Brax’minton Tournament This Weekend: Schedule & Details

Asbadabrax is preparing to organize its traditional Brax’minton badminton tournament at the Claude-Casse gymnasium in Brax. Many faithful, but also new ones, will take part in this sporting event which began in 2009.

The event will take place this weekend, Saturday October 11 and Sunday October 12. Last year, 200 players from 37 clubs were welcomed. For this 15th edition, players from the four corners of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region are expected, but also from neighboring regions.

The club will, like every year, participate on its own scale in the Pink October campaign by donating €1 per registration in favor of the cancer committee 47. Between 200 and 300 matches will be played during the two days of Brax’minton. “As usual, our club is joining forces with Pink October for this now unmissable event. We will donate part of the amount of each registration in favor of Pink October and the fight against cancer. Donations will also be made by those who wish. We have 200 registered for this edition, 42 clubs will be represented ranging from the Basque coast to the Toulouse region, including of course our clubs lot-et-garonnais. We will have men’s singles and mixed matches on Saturday, and men’s and women’s doubles on Sunday,” explains Emilie Allard, president of Asbadabrax.

Gym address: 2, chemin de Lestagné, 47310 Brax.
