The Antwerp Giants won 103-63 this Sunday against the Foxes after a one-sided encounter to complete the 5th day of the BNXT League, the Belgian-Dutch basketball championship.
From the outset, Antwerp put Montois on the ropes with a 20-4 lead in the first five minutes. Dominant in rebounding (45-25) and creation (27 assists to 8), the Antwerp players eased the pressure slightly to lead 46-26 at halftime. The second period was a carbon copy of the first, at least in the domination displayed by the Giants led by Enoch Cheeks (20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 interceptions) and Niels De Ridder (17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists in 21 minutes).
