ASKÖ Traun: Local Derby Kick-Off!

Am Sunday at 12:00 p.m ASKÖ Traun starts the new season of the 1st Badminton Bundesliga – right away Local derby against Union Ohlsdorf im Traun sports center.

For the first time in nine years, ASKÖ Traun has to compete without its number 1, Collins Filimon. He is playing on loan in Denmark this season, but will otherwise remain with the club. Instead, the team relies partly on young talent and wants to reach the semi-finals as their season goal despite the upheaval. There is a strong core in the team with Wolfgang Gnedt, Kai Niederhuber and veteran Jürgen Koch. As in the previous year, we are well positioned for women. A strong start to the season against Ohlsdorf can bring self-confidence.

After the first half of the season in December, targeted reinforcements could be considered. The current champions are the first contenders for the title Asv press tree.

We are looking forward to numerous spectators at the start of the season and an exciting derby!
