Luka Vuskovic has not yet completed a single minute for Hamburg SV, but before the upcoming crackle at FC Bayern (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.), expectations are high at least from the outside of the only 18-year-old. Trainer Merlin Polzin praised the young central defender at today’s HSV press conference: “In his personality and self -image, Luka is an absolute leader who goes ahead. He defends with a matter of course and robustness that is good for us.”
In the best case, the loan from Tottenham Hotspur should become one of the guarantors on the defensive for relegation. But the climber must worry about the long -term availability of the defense juwel. According to the ‘picture’, the Spurs at the Vuskovic deal were the possibility of being able to order the Youngster back early for a bottleneck in winter and to cancel the loan. So this summer, for example, at Chelsea and Marc Guiu (19).
In the worst case from a sporting point of view, the Youngster thus becomes the expected hope of defense, but is only allowed to play a few competitive games for the red pants before he brings a big gap on the defensive again in winter. Hamburgers must therefore hope that Tottenham will not cause any major injury worries – and of course that Vuskovic does his promise in terms of sport.
