Johan Derksen really does not understand FC Twente’s decision to dismiss Joseph Oosting. According to the analyst, the dismissed coach was good in the players’ group, but technical director Jan Streuer ‘under pressure from De Meute’ decided to quit confidence.

“I want to say something about the dismissal of Oosting,” Derksen begins in the program Today Inside van SBS 6. “He was very good in the players’ group, everyone was allowed to do not like him and the players don’t get it. And I don’t get anything.”

“It is a very sincere, honest man. Jan Streuer was completely crazy in his old age and he has let his gut feelings run free. It also has to do with the new director who sits there, because he is also involved in everything.”

“But if Jan Streuer sells all the goals, because he has sold his best players, and some points are lost, then supporters and sponsors will start complaining. Streuer then chooses himself and thinks: thinks: I throw out that Oosting, then the complainers are sweet again. Then I think: Steuer, look at yourself”Derksen continues.

“Look in the mirror, because you are the reason that Oosting has lost a few points. Nobody wants to go to FC Twente, and then he ends up with John van den Brom, an old boyfriend of him.” Van den Brom seems to be the new trainer, although that has not yet been officially announced.

“I don’t think Van den Brom is a trainer who stimulates people, I think he is one dead. Then you would rather have the driven trainer Oosting? You don’t want to work for such a boss. ”

“I find it really incomprehensible that Steuer has made such an emotional decision under pressure from the crowd, while he has been walking in football for a long time. The crowd is the boss in Twente,” concludes Derksen.
