TarragonaThe Festa Major de Tarragona almost arrives at its Ecuador, after a first weekend that has managed to mobilize many Tarragona people. The feast of Santa Tecla continues and the Tarragona people are already preparing for the strong weekend, with all eyes set on Sunday night, when the beasts and giants enter the Plaza del Rey and begin to sound the soundSummate Rocathe favorite pasodoble of the Festa Major. Before the Amparito agreements sound, however, there are major concerts to cheer on the last weekend of Santa Tecla.

At 19.30, in the Parc del Francolí, the Grand Night of Music of Commitment begins, where some of the groups of Sona9, the most important emerging music platform in Catalonia, will be lived live. Until two in the morning, artists such as Naia, Partipers or Miss Bolivia will go on stage. As the emerging music sounds next to the river, at the Auditorium Theater Camp de Mars, at 10 pm, a tribute will begin in the prodigious decades of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s by the TGN Forum Band. At 22.30, after the alternative speech, the Tarragona shacks begin on the Paseo de las Palmeres, where, among others, Remei de Ca la Fresca will pass.

The Plaza de la Font will be prepared at 18.30 to live the small parade, where the little ones will enjoy with their entourage. Ball de Diables Infantil, Petit Dragon, small bull, Vibriet, Aligueta, Mulasseta … During the parade, the section of Santa Anna will be a street marked as quiet, without pyrotechnics and with more silent music to adapt to the people who prefer it.
Continuing with the party for the little ones, at 8 pm you can participate in one of the rehearsals of the Colla Jove Xiquets de Tarragona, in the premises of the Colla Castellera.

On Saturday the 20th begins with a Masterclass Rumbera, on the occasion of the 10th Rumber Vermouth of Santa Tecla, by the brothers of Vergüenza Ajena, Tito and Sergi Félix. The class can be tasted in the Plaza de la Rumba from 10.00. The party will continue at Plaça de les Cols, where the Big Band Bumt will offer its traditional vermouth concert of the Santa Tecla festivals. There will be more than forty musicians on the stage, a good vermouth and an unbeatable repertoire to enjoy this concert, performed by the adult band of the School of the Banda Unió Musical de Tarragona. Before the evening, the Pardig Rumber is still planned, from 5 pm in the Plaza de la Rumba. At 20.00, in the room El Cau, the concert of Guiu Cortés vs. El Niño de la Mortgoteca (€ 18) and the same time will begin at the Francolí Park the concert by Miki Núñez, who will present his album The gamethe first entirely in Catalan. After him, he will play on the same stage Cesc Triquell and midnight will be the time to dance versions with the Akelarre.

Sunday at noon, at Cós del Bou, The new couple of new nanos and their companions will greet the castellers and castellers and the Tarragona people who will be making the vermouth on the same street. The vermouth will be accompanied by the music of PD Murddock and Dj’s D-Broma.

At 11.30 in the Rambla Nova, in front of the Metropol Theater, the traditional sardana dance is celebrated with the Cobla La Principal de Tarragona.
The Ball de Dames i Vells will hold two sessions this year: the first will be at the Sant Salvador Civic Center Noa at 13:00, while the second will be the following Monday at 18.30 in the Plaza del Ball de Dames i Vells.
