St.Gallen: Bike & Taekwondo Fusion

This weekend St.Gallen is becoming a hotspot of action, adrenaline and a good atmosphere. In addition to the Swiss championships of bicycle (SUICMC), the Swiss championships in the Bikepolo (SBPC) also take place.

The audience awaits a varied program around the bike and the sociable get -together: from the impeller course for children to a mountain sprint to rushing after parties in the Grabenhalle. The physical well -being is also taken care of. The sporty highlight is the Mainrace on Sunday.

But St.Gallen offers even more this weekend: the Taekwondo Swiss Open will take place in the athletics center. Around 800 athletes from all over the world travel to compete in an international ranking tournament.

Strong weekends
Wittenbach becomes a setting for equestrian fans. On the first two weekends in September, the St.Gallen riding club invites you to the traditional equestrian sports days. On the first weekend, the focus is on dressage riding before pace and tension dominate on the second weekend at the jumping days.

The fun is not neglected either: On September 6th and 13th, the chat tests in the hobby Horsing and in the pony Jump & Run provide the best entertainment.

Start of the season in the valley of humility
The new floorball season starts on September 13th. Both the women NLB and the men Lupl (NLA) from Wasa play their first season games in the Riethüsli. The program includes exciting games on blue floor, farewell, grill and breakengames.

Badminton fever in St.Gallen
The Kreuzbliche sports hall becomes an exciting duel, intensive rallies and exciting matches. Badminton St.Gallen organizes the Gallus Cup, part of the renowned badminton Swiss Touraments (BST).

Players from all over Switzerland and beyond fight for victory – a tournament that promises excitement and top performance.

Sweat, power, action
At the end of September, the Athletics Center is transformed into the cauldron of the CrossFit competition Tough’n’rough, one of the largest fitness events in Switzerland. Around 140 participants compete in disciplines such as weightlifting, gymnastics and endurance.

A wide range of workouts, a live DJ, culinary offers and a rousing atmosphere await the audience.

Swimming noodles adé, ice skate Olé
The bathing season is slowly coming to an end. The Rotmonten outdoor pool and the Dreilinden family bathroom close on September 7th. In the Dreilinde community pool, bathing operations are still supervised until September 14th.

The winter season is already starting: the Lerchenfeld ice sports center is already open to ice skating fans.
