RVC Ajax Blocks Steur’s Volendam Loan

Football commissioner Danny Blind would see an important role for the midfielder this season, who made an excellent impression in the preparation. Especially against Monaco, Steur showed nothing to be inferior to a number of other, older midfielders, which he underlined again at Young FC Utrecht in Young Ajax.

Because of a surplus of midfielders-Kenneth Taylor and Kian Fitz-Jim are allowed to leave, but are still Ajax player-Steur will be out for Young Ajax for the time being. That is why both the club and the player seem to make wise to make Eredivisie minutes under Rick Kruys. Sources report that Ajax already announced to FC Volendam that there was no longer any objection to the transition, but the Supervisory Board holds Steur in Amsterdam.

It seems like a positive signal for the Volendam youth international, which is under contract in the Johan Cruijff Arena until the summer of 2028. So far, the counter in Ajax is 1 on one Eredivisie match, last season as a substitute against Heracles Almelo, but if it is up to the commissioners, that number goes up rapidly.
