Paraguay needs a draw in both games that are lacking to stamp their passport to the United States World Cup, Canada and Mexico. With 24 points, it occupies the fifth place in the classification and will hardly be out of the World Cup. It remains to confirm mathematically only.
Ecuador is in good. Already classified, the team fights only for the symbolic second place in the classification against Brazil. Both teams add up to 25 points, but Ecuadorians have a better balance than Brazilians: eight to five. None of them can arrive in Argentina, with 35.
