Even before the final round, the Latvian national team had secured 3rd place in Group A and participate in the semi -finals, while the Czechs will be eliminated. The question of the winner of the match was no longer up to date, and in the last break, the Latvians went with 30 points (86:56).

With more playing time, the Latvian team was not stopped in the offensive, and the Czechs did not even try it. By the middle of the last quarter, Latvians have already exceeded 100 points, increasing the team’s record record in the tournament.

In the European Championship group, the Latvian national team lost to Turkey and Serbia in the previous four games, but defeated the Estonian and Portuguese teams. The top four teams in the group will qualify for the semi -finals.

In the group round of the European Championship, 24 teams are divided into four groups, with a round tournament in Riga, Tampere, Katowice and Limassol. The top four teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs in Riga. The champions will be known in the final on September 14th.
