Latvian basketball players beat the Czech national team in the final game of the group with a 109: 75 championship on Wednesday, before which both teams had a clear future fate. Latvians will prepare for the eighth finals in Riga on Saturday, while the Czechs will go home without victory.

Even before the final round, the Latvian national team had secured 3rd place in Group A and participate in the semi -finals, while the Czechs will be eliminated. The opponents of the Latvian national team in the semi -finals on Saturday will be Lithuanian basketball players, who won 2nd place in Group B in Tampere.

The winners were 20 points for Bertani, with Dairis hit six three -point shots, but Davis also won six balls at the baskets. Kristaps Porziņģis and Rolands Schmitt added 16 points.

Following David Bertan’s scoring attack, the difference for the first time in the game exceeded the 20 -point mark (66:45) and the Czech counterparts were even more clear. The question of the winner of the match was no longer up to date, and in the last break, the Latvians went with 30 points (86:56).
With more playing time, the Latvian team was not stopped in the offensive, and the Czechs did not even try it. By the middle of the last quarter, Latvians have already exceeded 100 points, increasing the team’s record record in the tournament.

In the European Championship group, the Latvian national team lost to Turkey and Serbia in the previous four games, but defeated the Estonian and Portuguese teams. The top four teams in the group will qualify for the semi -finals.
