Two national Judocas will compete during the weekend in the senior Pan American championship of the Kata modality that opens the curtain this Friday and will be played until Sunday in Cancun, Mexico.
The national team is made up of the athletes Jonder Guevara and Ángel Harry who travel under the direction of coach Luis Jiménez.
Central American Selective
The Continental Judo event will serve as the first selective of the KATA modality to the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, while the Bolivarian Games Lima-Ayacucho will be a preparatory, initial multisport event of the new Los Angeles 2028 cycle and which begins on November 22.

Similarly, in the framework of the Mexican fair, a course aimed at judges and referees of judo will be carried out, where Venezuela will be attended by a technician for the update of knowledge.
Defined programming
The Pan American Judo Championship will take as a stage the Chitzen Itza Convention Center of the city of Cancun, Mexico, until now are 60 Judocas registered in the appointment.
With regard to the program, the draws of the different categories will take place this Friday and the preliminary and final fighting sessions will be established for each of the sections on Saturday and Sunday.
