In addition to the players’ transfers and the performance of the Czech national team, Czech football is moved by criticism of the judges from the first league clubs and the decision of the three clubs do not allow the editors of the only purely sports printed diary in our country. There is also a case of attacking the referee in the junior match with a coach of one of the teams. What all this tells about the situation in Czech football?
If I start from attacking the referee, I called it the next day. I had a short conversation with him. These are things that absolutely do not belong to the football environment, so the reaction to it was absolutely strict of all relevant commissions.
We condemn it and started a campaign with respect, green tape for young referees. We are talking about how to support them and I believe we are on our way. These cases are absolutely impossible and we are strictly opposed to them.
Paradoxically, the particular judge was part of the program, had the relevant green tape. Are you wondering what to do from the position of leadership of the Football Association to prevent this from happening?
This is exactly what we do in the campaign that focuses on supporting young referees. To discuss it, to communicate, and then, if such a case occurs, to be strict. And I think the strict solution will come on our part, it will be the strictest punishment.

We absolutely distance themselves, the referee is a young boy and it is important to support him. As part of the support of the referees, we are talking about education, we are preparing a proposal for the concept of their development.
I personally asked UEFA with the authorization of the Executive Committee to get support for the development of referees in a very short time so that it fits into the entire development system.
Do you already have a reaction from UEFA? Do you know when you get to your hand?
Ten days ago I had a meeting with President UEFA CEFERIN, with the chief of the referees, we talked about it. In the next week we should have a video communication where we should discuss a specific person who will help us in the consulting of the development of referees.
How does the Czech Republic imagine the involvement of such a consultant from UEFA?
We would like the connection to be very active to announce how we want to develop our judges with specific steps. Above all, focus on more intensive education. I asked Libor Kovařík, who introduced his vision for the development of referees across the spectrum of the football pyramid.

Within UEFA we will prepare a concept that we will then announce to the public. It will take a month, maybe longer. And it will be a precise project. I believe that it will help the development of youth referees, but also to achieve that we have at the international level of the referee, because at this point we do not have anyone there.
The beginning of this year’s football league brought a number of official protests of individual clubs against the performance of the referees. For several decades, Czech football has been doubts if everything is regular. DAl would you hand in the fire that in Czech football everything is correct? That influencing matches is the past?
As chairman of the Football Association MI am in the responsibility of a commission of referees and I would definitely put my hand on the fire, because we do all the maximum. Football is about emotions, mistakes can happen. If you look across Europe and world football, the referees evoke a lot of emotions.

I believe that the system we have set is right and I believe that we will be able to change the environment towards the referees. Clubs have the right to protests, but it is important that it is correctly unified and possibly explained.
We look at whether the cases that are given in the protests were correctly determined. We are also not satisfied with some things, but UEFA could help us in the interpretation of disputed decisions.
