Sports hall ‘t Vijfeiken was once again all about the annual Vriendjes girlfriend tournament of the Heesche Badminton Association on Friday 5 September. Also this year youth members were allowed to take a friend to participate as a duo together. The room was full of energy: there was a fanatic played, a lot of laughter and enthusiastically encouraged.
With more than 25 duos that entered the jobs, the battle for the prizes was exciting to the end. Some teams already participated for the second or third time, while other participants first met Badminton at the association. That ensured a nice mix of experience and fresh energy. After an evening full of sporting rallies, exciting points and especially a lot of fun, Helen and Gabriela were allowed to call themselves the proud winners of this year. A great achievement after so much commitment and enthusiasm!
The tournament was again a great success with great pleasure for players, supporters and organization. A nice tradition that will definitely be on the calendar again next year.
