Kevin Gausman did not want to share his post on Thursday afternoon, for the final match of the three-game series between the Blue Jays of Toronto and the Astros of Houston.
Gausman was at the mound during each of the nine innings in a 6-0 victory by Blue Jays, to win the series.
Gausman shone with nine withdrawals on sockets and 100 throws made. He only allowed astros in the meeting, both in the fourth round.
It is the first time since July 27, 2024 that Gausman has been at the mound for nine rounds. It is also the fifth time of the season that he has launched at least eight rounds. The artilleryman was also automatically for eight rounds last week, against the Yankees.
