The Normandy Baseball, Softball and Baseball5 League will host the inaugural women’s baseball tournament on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Saint-Exupéry Stadium in Rouen, according to local municipal reporting. The two-day competition serves as the final baseball event of the local season in Rouen before the city’s senior team, the Huskies, transitions into its winter training period.
Four Teams Gather at Terrain Pierre-Rolland
Rouen Baseball 76 is lending its facilities at the Saint-Exupéry complex—specifically the Pierre-Rolland field—to host four competing women’s squads over the weekend. The regional baseball league, which organized the event, highlighted the tournament as part of the ongoing expansion of women’s participation in the sport that has developed over recent years. The regional side is set to face visiting opponents from Hauts-de-France, Grand Ouest Parisien, and the Paris Université Club.
Solidarity Actions Support Breast Cancer Awareness
The tournament coincides with the annual “Octobre rose” campaign dedicated to breast cancer awareness and research. Organizers have scheduled several solidarity initiatives throughout the weekend. All participating players and officials will wear pink wristbands, and spectators can purchase similar wristbands or contribute to an online fundraising campaign benefiting the League Against Cancer. Additionally, an informational booth hosted by the League Against Cancer will operate on Saturday, October 24, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Access and Practical Information for Spectators
Admission to the tournament is free for all spectators. Competition matches run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Public transit access to Saint-Exupéry Stadium is available via bus lines T2 and T3, stopping at Auberge de Jeunesse, or line T4 at Marie Curie – MTC.
