Emirates and Real Madrid have announced a multi -year partnership that makes the airline Main Official Sponsor of the professional spanish basketball team. Based on the agreement, the Fly Better brand of Emirates will appear immediately in a clearly visible way on the team’s shirts, in continuity with what is already happening for the male and female formations of the football teams. This new collaboration marks Emirates’ debut in European basketball and consolidates the global presence of the airline in sport, with the aim of increasingly bringing fans more and more to the game.
Real Madrid is the only European sports club to have conquered the title of continental champion in the same year both in football and in basketball.

The Fly Better brand of Emirates will appear on the game uniforms, on the training kits and the clothing of the technical staff. The agreement will also guarantee the airline a wide visibility to the Movistar Arena Madrid, including scoring scoreboards, virtual billboard, hospitality and ticketing opportunities, social rights and marketing for the development of global campaigns, as well as advertising spaces. Emirates will also be present in the main basketball events such as the Liga ACB, the Euroleague and the Copa del Rey.
The company can also access the structures of the Ciudad Real Madrid sports center to organize exclusive visits ‘behind the scenes’ for guests, meetings with players and training sessions for young people with large basketball legends.
A long -standing commitment to basketball
From local and youth realities to international alloys, to the NBA, Emirates has been supporting basketball for over thirty years. In 2024, the company and the NBA signed a multi -year historical agreement that made Emirates Global Airlines official partner of the NBA and inaugural partner partner of the Emirates Cup Emirates, as well as becoming the first sponsor of the refereeing uniforms.
Emirates also supported the basketball federation of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai International Basketball Championball for almost thirty years, sponsored the 2014 Fiba World Championships in the Emirates and contributed to the victory of seven international titles by sponsored teams.
