The tennis world ranking seventh seventh Jack Draper ended its season prematurely due to a long-standing upper arm bruise. This was announced by the Briton, who actually wanted to defend his title in Vienna, on Monday via the social networks.

Draper had been pausing since his second round in Wimbledon and only started again at the US Open. There he also left round two, the return was apparently too early. “Unfortunately I have to pause because of my arm injury and will suspend the rest of the year,” he said on Monday evening.
