The turning point for the “Lumaca” construction site in the hamlet of Riozzo arrives in Cerro. The intervention will resume by September. Within a year, the gym and auditorium that can be used by the local population will be made. As required by the legislation, these days the municipal offices have entrusted the intervention to the second classified of the tender called in 2018. All this after the definitive closure of the relations with the old company, which had carried out the first part of the works. These are the latest news on the second lot of the primary “Leonardo da Vinci”, which was inaugurated in September 2018. In 2019 the second phase of the intervention kicked off, which met a thousand misadventures. At this point, however, the impasse seems to be overcome. By September, in fact, the maxi-operation with a total cost of 2.6 million euros will resume, which will be covered mostly by the government. The Municipality will also contribute to the realization of the intervention. This is what was made by the administrators at the helm of the local reality: the works will see the creation of a 300 -seated gym and auditorium. Their physiognomy is already largely visible. Both public spaces will be accessible to the entire population of Cerro. At the moment there are no structures of the size of the future auditorium. All completed by the expansion of the school canteen, which will strengthen the services guaranteed by primary. Also in the school of Riozzo, the new citadel of sport is taking shape. The intervention will see the creation of a mini athletic track with two multipurpose pitches, where you can practice basketball, soccer, volleyball and badminton.
