NEW YORK – Former Canadian hockey striker Lonnie Loach died at the age of 57.

He played in the NHL jerseys Ottawa, Anaheim and Los Angeles a total of 57 matches in which he scored 23 points (10+13). His career was based mainly in the lower overseas contest Ihl, in which he spent 12 seasons. The overseas media informed about it.

The #OHL mourns the passing of alumnus Lonnie Loach at the age of 57. A standout with the Guelph Platers from 1985-88, Loach captured the Emms Family Award, an OHL Championship, and the 1986 Memorial Cup.

In 1986 he was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks from 98th place, but he entered the profiliga until six years in the colors of Ottawa. He spent his career in overseas competitions, but in 1998/1999 he jumped to Slovenia and scored 14 points in 11 matches. He ended his hockey career after the 2005/2006 season.
