Browns Sign Rookie Judkins: Contract Details

Running Back Quinshon Judkins signed his rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns. After great trouble in the summer, he was the last draft rookie that was still without a contract.

According to Ian Rapoport from “NFL Network”, Quinshon Judkins signed a four -year contract of $ 11.4 million at the Cleveland Browns. With his contractual signature, all picks of this year’s work are now under contract.

Judkins was selected as 36th Pick from the Browns in the second round. However, they took the time with a contract offer: Judkins was arrested on July 12th and investigations into assault and domestic violence were initiated.

However, since the Florida public prosecutor’s office came to the conclusion that a conviction was unlikely for various reasons, there was no formal indictment.

Nevertheless, the 21-year-old still threatens disciplinary measures by the NFL because of a possible violation of the behavioral guidelines of the league. The investigation is still ongoing.

Cleveland Browns want exceptional permit

According to “NFL Network”, the Browns are planning to apply for an exemption for Judkins at the NFL so that he can take part in the team’s training sessions.

However, this approval has nothing to do with the disciplinary procedure, but is a usual procedure for players who missed the training camp in the season preparation.
