Peterson, the 18-year-old badminton star from Thailand, continued his impressive form when he qualified for the Hong Kong Open from 2025.
2 days ago, Pitchamon caused excitement when he defeated a series of Chinese players and thus won the Baoji China Masters 2025. It was also the second BWF World Tour title in the career of this “badminton wonder”.
Thanks to this championship, Pellchamon also made a leap in the ranking of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). She rose from 49th to 40th place in the world ranking and to 36th place in the World Tour.
However, this achievement was not enough for PETCHAMON to officially get a ticket for the Hong Kong Open, one of the largest badminton tournaments.
In the qualifying round she took on the Taiwanese opponent Tung Ciou-Tong, who is 54th on the world ranking.

Podchamon only had trouble in the first game when she won 21-19. In the second game she easily won 21-13.
Thanks to this victory, Petchamon officially qualified for the Hong Kong Open, a memorable milestone in the career of the 18-year-old girl.
However, the chance that Podchamon will get far is small because she has to compete against her senior Chochuwong in the first round. Chochuwong is currently sixth on the world ranking and is at her age.
The expectation is that Podchamon, at the age of 18, will follow in the footsteps of famous seniors such as Intanon and Chochuwong and joins the top 10 in the world. In addition to her talent, Pitchamon also causes excitement in the badminton world because of her beautiful, innocent appearance.
