After the departure of Kasper Dolberg, RSC Anderlecht is still looking for a new striker. In the search Anderlecht came to Neal Maupay from Olympique Marseille, reported Detnet.
However, it does not seem to come from a switch for the time being. Maupay currently earned 300,000 euros per month from his current employer. An amount that Anderlecht cannot meet for the time being.
The market value of Maupay is currently 8 million euros. The French striker is still under contract up to and including 2028 in Marseille, which means that Anderlecht would also have to pay a transfer fee with a definitive transfer.
Maupay gained a lot of experience in England in Frnakrijk in the past, so he played for teams such as Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Saint-Etienne and Everton.
