Sunday 31 August 2025, the historic center of Verucchio will host the sixteenth edition of “Verucchio on the street, games and sports”the traditional sports festival that animates the Romagna town for years, promoting sports activities, socialization and fun for all ages.
This year the event is enriched with a absolute novelty: the evening time, from 19.00 All 23.30which will transform the main squares – Piazza Europa, Piazza Vecchio Ghetto and via Aldo Moro – In a real open -air sport village.

Will be 18 Sports realities present, between local groups and associations, which they will propose demonstrations, tournaments, performances and guided tests. From martial arts to football, from basketball to gymnastics, from skating to dance, without forgetting cycling, baseball and musical activities, the program will allow young and old to try their hand at different disciplines, learning from the best athletes in the area.
The youngest will be able to participate in the “Sports passport”collecting stamps every time they complete a test. Those who manage to complete the entire path can participate in thespecial prizes extraction: three months of free practice for the first classified, two months for the second and one month for the third.

Next to physical activity, the 2025 edition proposes a cultural and entertainment offer. Gastronomic and music stands will animate the squares, while under the arcades of Piazza Europa and Piazza Vecchio Ghetto the exhibition will be visited “Fair play. Sport in comics and animation”.
