Juan Soto was at the heart of a six-point rise from the New York dishes with two circuits on Saturday evening, in an 11-8 setback against the Miami Marlins.
Late by six points after two and a half rounds, the dishes gave off the scoring at 8-8, but the marlins stopped the hemorrhage to get out of this duel.
With two circuits, Soto reached the 35 circuits tray for a third season in a row. However, he became the first player in history to succeed three seasons of at least 35 circuits in three different uniforms.
Soto had struck 35 long balls with the Padres of San Diego in 2023, then he had collected 41 circuits last season with the New York Yankees. Now he has reached this tray with the dishes.
The meeting started badly for the Marlins on Saturday evening. From the first round, a rain of double productive allowed Miami to quickly take the lead 5-0.
Then in the third round, the Marlins notably took advantage of two simple productive to add three points and increase their advance to 8-2.
Soto crossed the plaque in the third round on a three-point circuit from Mark Venos, then he imitated his teammate from the next round, with a 386 feet circuit which reduced the gap to 8-6.
Soto returned to the sixth round with his 35th circuit, to create equality 6-6. Soto finished the match with three points scored and three points produced. He also stole two goals to bring his total to 25 this season.
Connor Norby, however, gave the lead to the marlins with a sacrifice ball a little later, then struck a double of two points in ninth round to increase the cushion of his family to 11-8.
Francisco Lindor also struck the long ball in the food. Leaving New York, David Peterson, gave eight strokes and eight points in two sleeves launched.
