“This was a blamage,” said the midfielder in front of the ESPN camera. “Telstar has rightly won. In a home game against Telstar we have to be dominant, but we suffered far too sloppy loss. In the first half I thought Telstar was better, we were overclassed. We have to look at this.”

Guus Til was also clear in his comment. “This was hopeless,” said the PSV midfielder. “Nobody brought them to us, in combination with the fact that we had no grip on their system. That made us play away at times.”
“We trained on it, but apparently not good enough. They had an answer,” Til complimented the promoted Telstar. “It was just not good. You try to get together, but several players have to get a different function, while the game is still running. That makes it difficult. After the break it went a little better and it was better, but after that game resumption it was over and out.”
PSV will resume the competition in two weeks, after the international match, at the leader NEC.
PSV trainer Peter Bosz admires Telstar
PSV trainer Peter Bosz was impressed by the way Telstar played football on Saturday. “I have a lot of admiration for that, they did it very well and fully won. We have been troubled in all areas. Put in the pressure, but they were also better in the footballing part,” Bosz said at a press conference.
Telstar provides mega stunt by beating national champion PSV in Eindhoven
Bosz did not see the defeat coming after three fairly convincing victories. “Otherwise I would have had an explanation for this, but I don’t have that. Also with the many players’ changes that we have had this summer, we have to win from Telstar at home.”
