Only the world’s number one survived. Arina Sabalenka (27, Belarus, photo) was the only female singular world ranking in the top five of the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. Sabalenka defeated Marie Bowzkova (27, Czech, 48th) in 2-0 (7-6, 6-4) in the second round of the tournament.
Wimbledon is a stage of this year. The previous major competition, the French Open Champion Coco Gop (21, the United States, 2nd), Jessica Pegula (31, US, 3rd), and Chung Chin -won (23, China, 5th) all bowed their heads.
