Taiwan coach Chan Hiu Ming assesses strength Indonesian women’s national team stronger in the 2026 Asian Cup qualification, compared to two years ago.

This was conveyed by Shark Ming about the strength of Indonesia which will be faced on Saturday (5/7). The presence of naturalized players is considered to give strength that cannot be underestimated.

“Two years ago, I remember, Indonesia and Taiwan faced face. We won. I think Indonesia is no longer the same. Indonesia has several naturalized players.”

“Indonesian local players have also changed. Therefore we will try to issue our best abilities in order to win against the host,” Hiu Ming said, Wednesday (2/7).

Taiwan won 3-0 over Kirgistan in the continued match of Group D at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Wednesday (2/7). This victory made Taiwan top the Group D standings.

“I am happy with the player’s performance and the results. We have won two matches with a good goal difference, and now we will watch the Indonesian and Pakistani matches,” Hiu Ming said.

“We underwent a difficult match today, there was bad weather so the match was stopped temporarily, but players could return to the field with a focus,” he said.

Taiwan player Su Yu Hsuan firmly said he was not satisfied after winning in two matches. For him the struggle has not been completed because it will still be against Indonesia.

“We have given 100 percent of our ability today. We struggle hard. Now we will be well prepared to fight Indonesia,” said Yu Hsuan.

When this news was released, the Indonesian women’s national team was facing Pakistan.
