Guanajuato: National School Games Ranking

Kali/Puebla, Pue.- The state of Guanajuato was placed in the tenth place of the medallero at the 2025 school sports games, with 13 medals: four gold, four silver and five bronze.

Puebla was the headquarters of the National Meeting, in which high school students put the state of Guanajuato to win the first national place in manly football, obtained by the New England school team in Celaya; as well as the first place in athletics (1,500 meters female), achieved by Rosa Estefany Velázquez Salas, from the Quanax-Huato high school in the municipality of Guanajuato.

It also highlights the second national place in women’s volleyball, achieved by the High School Felipe Carrillo Puerto, of Apaseo El Alto; And the third place in disc launch, by Karla Ximena Rivera Villafuerte of the Quetzalcoatl high school in Santiago Valley.

To these triumphs are added the medals obtained by the primary level delegation, which achieved nine medals in different disciplines.

In Women’s Individual Badminton Camila Ascencio Hernández, from La Esperanza school, he won the first national place, along with Sofía Martínez Veloz, from the Don Bosco de León Salesian College, he obtained second place in the women’s doubles mode.

In the mixed doubles category, Camila added a third medal by obtaining third national place with Emiliano Monreal Amaya of the Kante Institute.

With the three medals, Camila Ascencio Hernández is positioned as one of the maximum medalists of the Guanajuato delegation by having an outstanding performance.

Secondary skills were developed within the framework of this national fair organized by the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE), which brought together students from all over the country.
