ASPTT Gaillac: Tarn Ufolep Badminton Champions

This 2024-2025 sports season will have been a big year for the badminton section of the ASPTT Gaillac. Indeed, the club has reached its highest level of members with 132 players, including twenty in competition. Perhaps this is the Jo effect, but the members do not claim it. It is rather, we heard that it was nice, that it is open to everyone, that there are all the levels, we have fun. Result, remarkable diligence until the end, both in terms of 60 young people and adults. The challenge organized every Thursday which consists in making a match, with the teams drawn, brings together all the players, among young people and adults. The first three in each category receive a small reward at the end.

The competitors were also very constant, with Julien and Bel who finish 2nd in the mixed championship. And as a team, we stayed at the top of the competition almost from start to finish. First after the championship, and during the dams, we were able to preserve our supremacy by winning all the matches. A great involvement of all the players because we made the team run with each meeting.

It had not happened for about fifteen years, so congratulations to everyone. Celebrated as it should be around a Spanish inn under the trees of Pichery, with the other teams.
