Youth Badminton Competition | Gold Medal Challenge

This tournament is organized by DONEXGROUP Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Sports, Vietnam Badminton Federation, Da Nang City Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The competition is held every year within the national badminton economy system, which aims to create a playground for professional training and select prospects of the national youth team.

The 2025 tournament will be the largest competition ever, with nearly 700 players from 40 delegations in the country.

Players compete in five age groups in five age groups: U.9, U.11, U.13, U.15, and U.17 in one tournament with fasting, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Based on the organizing committee’s careful facility preparation and the outstanding expertise of the players, the competition will give the audience with the highest level of exciting and attractive matches.

At the opening ceremony, Le Tan Dat, the vice chairman of the Vietnam Badminton Federation, said: “Badminton is receiving a lot of attention for investing and development in many regions and organizations in many regions of the country. Especially in Da Nang, the badminton movement has spread throughout the city, so many players of various classes and age groups are participating in training and economy.”

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the qualifiers were officially held at the standard stadium. The players competed with strong mental and professional skills. Promising young players have been impressive and foretelling their amazing performance in the next round. According to the evaluation, the competition is a high level of professional spirit that not only helps the players’ skills, but also provides the foundation for the community to evaluate the effectiveness of prospect. At the same time, this competition is also an opportunity to discover and nurture the next -generation leading players of the national team in the near future.
