Jakarta – The management (Pengkab) of PBSI Kudus and Djarum Sports Service Area (Pengkab) held the SenangMinton Festival 2025 Series 1 to continue working hard to develop young talents.
The festival will be held from 23 to 24 June 2025 at GOR Djarum, Jati, Kudus, Central Java. This event continued the previous two sessions, which received positive responses from participants and schools.
345 students from primary schools in grades 1 to 3 participated in the event. In addition, the event also involved 200 PAUD and kindergarten students from 10 schools in Kudus and surrounding areas, participating in many games and playgrounds.
Yoppy Rosimin, project director of the Djarum Sports and Health Foundation, hopes that this festival will develop a fun and love for badminton from an early age.
“This is very important for maintaining the badminton chain and aims to develop the golden generation of badminton with an interesting game,” Yoppy said.
SenangMinton Festival became the benchmark for elementary school students assisted by PBSI Kudus in terms of ability improvement. The schools involved also regularly conduct badminton extracurricular education.
Yuni Kartika, chairman of the Regent of PBSI Kudus, said that the enthusiasm for attending SenengMinton 2025 Series 1 Festival was very good. This is because the schools participating in the festival have regularly performed extracurricular badminton.
“We’ve also seen badminton develop in every school. So far, in terms of interest and quality, it’s very good, as SenengMinton Festival has been held for the third time,” Yuni said.
The first two series of SenengMinton Festival were held last year. The first series was held in February 2024, and the second series was held in December 2024.
SenengMinton Festival has seven types of competitions, namely Target Service, Shuttle, Golden Letter Shuttle, Throwing Shuttle, Zig Zag run, Run and Drive target.
Each game is designed to practice athleticism, coordination, and introduce the fundamentals of badminton techniques in the form of fun games.
Each school has three groups, with five students (three males and two females) who must work together to solve each challenge.
SenengMinton Festival plans to continue its trip to four other cities in 2025. The cities in question are Semarang, Thoreau, Pughgado and Magrand.
