RFU: We consider insulting accusations of manipulations with the draw of the Cup

Dynamo previously reproached the RFU in the absence of a broadcast of draw and club representatives at the event. The RFU said that the draw was not broadcast due to the duration, and the doubts about its honesty were called offensive

The RFU considers the accusations of possible manipulations during the draw of the “Fonbet” – the Russian Cup. The RBC Sports said this in the press service of the RFU.

Earlier on Sunday, Dynamo criticized the RFU for the draw, which was not broadcast live and on which there were no representatives of the club. Dynamo noted that they could not control that the draw was “passing honestly.”

The RFU said that the event was held in the studio “Match TV” and took about two hours. Due to the duration, the draw was not broadcast live.

“In the television shooting of the draw, employees of Match TV and the RFU, a large number of technical personnel, and ex-football players participated. As for the presence of club representatives on the draw, their participation is not mandatory in the regulations of the draw, ”the RFU noted.

According to the results of the draw, Dynamo fell into the same group with Krasnodar, Sochi and the Wings of the Soviets.

The first matches of the group stage of the “RPL paths” in the Cup will be held on July 29–31.
