A few days ago, the 8th badminton tournament of Mirande, which welcomes different levels of national ranking, took place.
Local Badist Léna Bedouret was engaged on the female adult table in S4 series. This highly raised individual tournament was a first for this young sportsman. Member of the leisure club Plaisantine, she also took her first steps in the world of competition with the Badminton club of Aire-sur-Adour (BCA 40), recognized for the quality of its supervision.
And for her debut in competition, Léna won the Mirande tournament in her category, while she is still just younger. After winning her two group games without conceding the slightest set, she acceded to the semi-final, before winning in the final by two sets to zero.
We must also highlight the good performance of the BCA 40 coach, Myriam Dastugues, who was engaged on the upper level table. After a remarkable course, she lost in the final after a very hung match.
Bravo and congratulations to these two badists for these very beautiful results.
