Badminton Life Legend Liliyana Natsir Will comeback in a charity match on July 22, 2025. Butet, Liliyana’s nickname, will play casually but seriously.
This was said by the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic gold medalist with Tontowi Ahmad, when met in the Thamrin area, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/25/2025).
Liliyana admitted that he had just performed operations so that the preparations carried out ahead of the match would focus on strengthening foot.

“But this hasn’t played for a long time at least don’t be shy.
“Don’t expect more too. ‘Oh, we have to take here, here’. Not too. But hopefully we can entertain it can also inspire. That is the goal and the hope can be able to get a lot of donations at the Charity event later,” he said.
In connection with the couple who will be partners in the mixed doubles number, Liliyana has not decided whether to return with Tontowi Ahmad.
“I don’t know yet (with Tontowi Ahmad). But in the past I had paired with Aa Taufik, you played mix at Cipayung Sparing with juniors and was not defeated too.
Liliyana Natsir Officially retired on January 27, 2019 or precisely in the 2019 Indonesia Masters Final at Istora, GBK. Even though she has retired, Liliyana still likes to play badminton, while developing her business in the property sector.
Now, Liliyana returns to the field. But with the format of Fun Match and Galang Dana to help fellow athletes, not just badminton. The match titled Make Your Moment from Badminton for All of this will be held at Tennis Indoor Senayan, on 22 July.
