This year, too, the 23rd district is transformed into a playground for young explorers during the summer holidays: from July to September, the Liesingen holiday game offers a program for children from six to twelve years. Whether police leaders, visits to the pharmacy or sporting challenges: There are various actions under the motto “Liesing plays” so that there is no boredom in the free time.
Many offers take place outside and invite you to participate and be amazed. All activities are free. District head Gerald Bischof (SPÖ): “I am sure there is something for everyone!” The registration start is on Monday, June 30th.
Baseball and experiments

Sporty kids, for example, can learn all sorts of baseball at the Baseball School in Vienna (youth sports facility, Ambrosweg 12). Appointments are on Wednesday, July 9 and on August 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration is required on Tel. 01/4000 23 122.
Young scientists from six to new years are on the trail in the Realabor Fass Factory “The Sound”. How do sounds arise? How do elephants talk? With exciting experiments you will find the answer to questions like this. The campaign takes place from Tuesday, July 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Lastenstrasse 19. Registration required at Tel. 01/4000 23 122.
Wassers in Liesingbach
There is also a lot to discover on the Liesingbach. With the team of “environmental snaps”, the young Liesinger go in search of stream residents with landing nets. The finds are observed together and then released again. The appointment is on Thursday, July 10, from 2 to 4.30 p.m. on the Liesing promenade at the Jellfrück bus station. Parents must be present, registration at registration.uwsp@gmx.at.
