The Los Angeles Clippers season concluded on May 3 after losing in the seventh game and confirming its first round elimination at the hands of the Denver Nuggets. For some, however, the course extended another month and a half more.
In the press session after the 2025 Draft, the clippers operations president, Lawrence Franko, also spoke of other topics related to the news of the team. Among other things he declared that Kawhi Leonard maintained his usual work routine until this last Sunday, coinciding with the conclusion of the NBA finals.
Kawhi’s goal was to demand the maximum and test his body to the competitive demand that involves prolonging a season until the end of June. It should be noted that the eave of the clippers could not debut this course until the beginning of January, but after that the rest of the year remained virtually healthy, playing the seven meetings of the series against the Nuggets.
“It is very excited because it is the first time in a long time that you are not recovering from an injury and that you can work and train normally,” Frank said.
