With escaping Wonderland, an indie darling for PS VR2 appears, Pinball FX VR brings Lara Croft to virtual reality and one of the most popular quest games gets a multiplayer mode.

VR fans have reason to be happy in June. The month, which actually traditionally heralds the summer hole in the XR industry, started with two major announcements: Marvel’s Deadpool VR will be the next Quest 3 exclusive game and Ndreams has a real VR blockbuster in the drawer with REACH.

In addition, the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is a new VR glasses in the starting blocks that are released in a game Pass bundle. So far, June has also had many smaller announcements that VR fans should not miss. In this article, we therefore summarize the most important new VR games and DLCs of the past few weeks.

Badminton Time VR appears for PS VR2

Fishing Cactus brings a family -friendly sports game to PSV R2 with “Badminton Time VR”. The game offers an arcade mode with power-ups, a realistic mode, tournaments, online matches and an avatar editor with comfort settings for left and right-handed.

Alliance Peacefighter brings rapid space action on Steam

With “Alliance Peacefighter”, a VR dogfighter starts in the style of Wing Commander and X-Wing on Steam. The game offers fast space battles in which you have to manage power between shields, weapons and drive – including four shield directions. The control works with VR controllers and Hotas setups.

Vrider SBK: Motorcycle racing game appears on PS VR2 and Steam

The motorcycle racer “Vrider SBK” by Funny Tales will be released on June 27 for PS VR2 and Steam. After the Quest release 2024, the new version brings improved performance, sharper graphics and an extended driver field with up to 22 AI competitors on 14 routes.

The Thrill of the Fight 2: Update bringt Casual-Matches & neue Inhalte

The VR boxing game “The Thrill of the Fight 2” receives its first major update. Version 0.2.1 introduces a new lobby for casual multiplayer matches that have no influence on the ranking. There is also a new hotel as a box location, balancing changes in the damage system and new rules-such as turning away or ducking.

Escaping Wonderland appears for PS VR2 & Steam

Cortopia Studios releases “Escaping Wonderland” for PS VR2 and Steam. The VR adventure is a successor to “Down the Rabbit Hole” and plays arrival in Wonderland before Alice. You slip into the role of the protagonist Molly and explore diorama-like environments, solve puzzles and alternate between the third-person and ridge-person perspectives.

I on the cat gets multiplayer update

The popular VR game “I am Cat” receives a free multiplayer update. Up to 20 players can now create chaos together in a new pirate card. The surroundings offer snowball battles, medieval weapons, cooking stations and a piano for background music. New cosmetic items for cat avatars are available by buying in-app. Further content has been announced.

Pinball FX VR: Tomb Raider-DLC brings two new tables

Zen Studios extends “Pinball FX VR” by two new tables in the raffle. In “Adventures of Lara Croft” you experience an action -packed ball hunt with many ramps and animations. “Secrets of Croft Manor” offers a quieter game feeling with mini games in the style of a 2D platform.

Undead Citadel: Medieval VR fight soon on PS VR2

The action game “Undead Citadel” will be released on June 26 for PSVR2. With over 60 near and ranged weapons you struggle with three game modes: Story, Horde and Armory. The PSVR2 version offers 90Hz, headset haptics and adaptive trigger.

Neolithic Dawn: VR-Survival appears for Quest

“Neolithic Dawn” starts on June 27th at the early access for quest. The Survival game puts you in 10,000 BC. BC, where you have to survive as a hunter and collector. If your character dies, you take over as a descendant in a changed world with inherited skills. The game offers realistic physics, crafting, animal recurrence, hunger and heat mechanics as well as online coop. A PC VR version is planned, but still without an appointment.
