Also in the new season we have four renowned red-yellow columnists. Every columnist will air his heart every four weeks and discuss the ups and downs on Go Ahead Eagles. Martijn Jongbloed, officially appointed this month as Head of Training and Edwin Lugt, former chairman and now Criticaster or world traveler, will also take the pen this season. In addition, we have tied two new columnists with Toon Schuiling and Jan-Willem. This will briefly introduce you to you below;
From the coming season, Jan-Willem Klink (1968, Deventer), I have the honor to write a column once every four weeks on this beautiful website about what is working on me at that time, standing out and/or inspires on a red yellow area.
I will mainly do that from my role as supporters Liaison Officer (SLO) from our club Go Ahead Eagles. In short, my position means that I try to be the connecting factor between supporter (s) and club, and vice versa. If I go deeper into my work, I help the supporter and supporters groups where needed, and I stimulate these sections wherever possible. Because I have been intensively involved with the club for more than 30 years, I can often make the difference with my favorite mantra “for thinking instead of post-thinking”. In the heyday that we experience as a club, I am happy that a group of very involved supporters was willing to join the Supporters team a few months ago. I am already very proud of the progressive role that we as a club have in the supporters area, but together with team supporters we strive for the ultimate goal: standardization!
In my sparse free time I like to drink a beer with friends in a pub or during a concert. So it could well be that I occasionally let those experiences come back in my writings next season.
