Austria Klagenfurt has completed its first transfer this summer.
Tormann Manuel Kuttin moves from the Swiss record champion Grasshopper Club Zurich to Waidmannsdorf. It is a return home for the 31-year-old.
Kuttin is born in Spittal, who was trained in the offspring at the GAK, Austria Vienna and Admira. At the Maria Enzersdorfer, the keeper made the leap to the professionals, and the WAC and Grasshopper Zurich are now going back to Carinthia.
“We are happy that Manuel Kuttin chose Austria Klagenfurt. In the conversations it became clear how much he identified himself with this task. With his quality and, above all, with his experience he will take a key role in our squad and be a strong backing for us,” said Neo Managing Director Sport Mario Brkljaca.
Kuttin wants to contribute his part to the realization
Kuttin is 1.95 meters tall and already has 67 missions in the Admiral Bundesliga on the hump. In Klagenfurt it goes down one floor, but the goalkeeper prevails the joy of the new adventure.
“I am very pleased that it worked out to switch to Austria Klagenfurt. The development of the club in the past few years was extremely positive, but the descent in the summer, of course, a setback. Now there is a reconstruction with a young, hungry troop and I will help to do it successfully,” says Kuttin.
His debut is already expected on Wednesday. As part of the summer preparation, Austria Klagenfurt meets SC St. Veit from the Carinthian League.
