Hamilton Sibillino: 2026 Plans & Past Obstacles

Lewis Hamilton has launched a precise message. The ranking says that it is not back from a very brilliant period (two sixths of the last two games) but the seven -time version of the world champion is different.

“Maybe one day you will discover all the things that hindered us – Sibillino revealed – whether it is team errors, problems with the car or riders errors. As far as I am concerned, I can say that in the end my weekend of Montreal was better than the previous ones, the qualification performance improved, then in the race I had the problem you know (the investment of a marmot)”.

Lewis describes a period in which not everything went as he wanted. “Many things happened during the last weekends, I can confirm that we are trying to get on the track and do our best. Behind the scenes I am working hard with Fred and with the team to try to implement changes that in several cases we will see in the long term”.

“I am working with Loic (Serra) and with the whole team on the suspension of next year to make sure that the underground problems will no longer be presented, we are making use of the knowledge accrued after the problems we have had so that next year it is better”.

On the Spielberg Hamilton weekend will have an updated fund available, the first of a series of updates that will arrive before the summer break. “I am happy to have an update available, it is always stimulating. We do not yet know what the impact will be, we hope that a step can be confirmed in the right direction, we do not expect enormous changes but there is always the hope that they can be surprised positive. We are progressing, that you see it or not is not necessarily important for me personally. I feel that I am making progress, I feel that we are making progress and this is the most important thing”.

Hamilton then liquidated the topic on FIA regulations regarding the guide penalties. “I do not drive following those rules, I am sincere, guido as it comes naturally to me. The commissioners always carry out a difficult job, let’s not forget that every race maneuver is different in the end, but I think that fixing positives. So far I have had no problems, the regulations have not influenced me, but I don’t know what the other drivers think of it. It is interesting that different people arrive every year and propose different solutions, some of them.

Regarding Leclerc’s words on single -seater 2026 (“Let’s say it is not the funniest car I have ever driven”) Hamilton cut short, revealing that he has not yet tried the simulator the model of the project that we will see on the track next year. “I have not yet started those tests, the reason is that the model is not yet completely finished, but I think it will soon be. It is not pleasant to drive? Is what I heard …”.
